Jump Salute

Only a few days after I painted this, the man on the left (John Young) passed away at age 87. I painted this in honor of Apollo 16, my favorite mission. John and Charlie Duke were great men and brave pioneers. I painted it child-like for a reason.

I drew the top one and then put it through a photo editor to come up with the design on the bottom. I think it looks cool. I gave the original picture to a student of mine. Who knows if it still exists or not.
